Msgr. Dennis Metzger and Lynn Harmon came west this year to visit Portland and to do some touring in Oregon. While in Portland, we visited the newly enlarged Japanese Garden, now including a Cultural Village designed by the world renowned Japanese architect Kengo Kuma. We also took a walking tour through the city with a local character who does his best to "keep Portland weird." The weather was great, and we had some wonderful meals together. A visit all too short!
