Linda Weigel died on March 1, 2013. Our friendship began in 1978 when I was assigned as parochial vicar to St. Mary's Parish in Corvallis. Linda was the Pastoral Associate there, one of the first in Oregon. She will be remembered for her intelligence, her commitment to the Church, the love she had for her friends, and her great sense of humor. As the pictures indicate, Linda loved a good party—gin and tonic in hand—and she was a great hostess. Her memory brings me joy, even as I mourn her passing.
