It was May Day, a Sunday, and a beautiful sunny day. In the late afternoon, I went for a relaxing walk through the city. After a recent spate of rainy days, the city was full of people out and about. The youth philharmonic was playing at "the Schnitz," the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall, and there may even have been a Timbers game. The city was full of life, welcoming spring. These pictures are "pushed" a bit to show the color and the vibrancy of the city.
