The early spring of 2011 was a challenging time for me. I was Vicar for Clergy, living at St. Rita Parish as "priest moderator." I had my annual checkup and bloodwork. and, to my surprise, I had an elevated PSA. A biopsy was recommended, and then surgery. After a brief recovery (in comfort, at the home of Lori and Colby), I returned to St. Rita shortly before Easter. Holy Week was a challenge, but I made it through. These pictures were taken at a lovely Easter gathering at Colby and Lori's. Shortly after Easter I learned I was being reassigned to St. Mary's Cathedral as pastor.
