I was only able to spend a few days in Ohio this year, visiting with my friend Msgr. Dennis Metzger. Our calendars didn't quite coincide, but we were still able to have a nice visit. We took in a Mud Hen's game in Toledo, we had dinner with Toledo Bishop Daniel Thomas, we visited the famous Toledo Zoo and Museum of Art, and we joined a family gathering in Bethlehem, the Metzger homestead. Along the way we also visited some small towns, including Van Wert and Delphos—both nicely satisfied my love of "main street USA," courthouse and all!
