Some time ago, dad gave me a small envelope with some negatives in it—pictures of mom and dad in Austria, just before or after they were married (1947). I recently bought a scanner, and I developed the negatives. The pictures were a revelation—mom and dad at the beginning of their life together. When I showed them to dad, he gave me some developed pictures from the same photo shoot—very small images (about 1"x 2") which I also scanned. I believe all of the pictures were taken in Klagenfurt, where mom and dad were married. A beautiful couple!
