Total Eclipse

August 21, 2017 was an auspicious day in Oregon and across the United States: a total eclipse of the sun.  The eclipse began on the Oregon coast in the morning, and, in a short time, it moved across the country to the east coast.  With the hope of clear skies and good weather, I traveled to John Day, Oregon, to photograph the eclipse.  I'm no professional, but I got a few good shots.  The eclipse was stunning—a very memorable day!
