I visited Israel in the last week of January, 2011, to attend an international conference on evangelization sponsored by The Neocatechumenal Way. About 400 people attended the conference, 280 of whom were bishops. Most of our time was spent in meetings, but we did take some excursions to the important holy sites: Jerusalem, Bethlehem, Nazareth, Capernaum, and a boat trip on the Sea of Galilee. It was an inspiring trip.
