My friend Msgr. Dennis Metzger came west this year, and we started with a visit to Dennis's nephew Ben in Ashland. From there, we headed across southern Oregon and into the Nevada desert, stopping in Winnemucca, then on to Salt Lake City. We spent a couple of days in the city, enjoying the sites. From there, we went north to Idaho, staying in Boise. We finished the trip at Mount Hood, staying at historic Timberline Lodge. Another great trip—enjoy the pics!
