In 2011, Dennis came west, and we headed south to Ashland to visit Dennis's nephew Ben, his wife Amy, and their son Henry. From there we headed south and east to Reno, with day trips from there to Carson City, Virginia City, and Lake Tahoe. The weather was spectacular, though a bit on the cool side. Leaving Nevada, we headed north to Lakeview, Oregon, then on to Bend and Kah-Nee-Ta Resort. We finished in Portland, with a day trip to McMinnville to see the Aviation and Space Museum.
