Fort Rock is in Lake County in Central Oregon, about an hour and a half from Bend. The rock itself is a volcanic crater that emerged from an inland sea. There is evidence of human habitation here that goes back 10,000 years. The pictures below may seem a little repetitive, but each is different: I applied a unique preset in Lightroom to each picture in order to see the various effects of light, color, vibrancy, sharpness, and saturation. It was a beautiful spring day when I took these pictures, and I like all of them. They give a unique sense of the old west.
