This year Dennis came west, and we started our vacation in Vancouver, B.C., a city that we always enjoy. From there, we took the ferry to Victoria, stopping first at the Butchart Gardens. We took the ferry back to Seattle, where there was a small but interesting exhibit of Andrew Wyeth. I was fascinated by the new Seattle Library by Rem Koolhaas. Back to Portland to celebrate my father's 90th birthday, then over to Kah-Nee-Ta Resort
