This page is a kind of "catch all" for various locations in eastern and central Oregon. While many people consider southeast Oregon a barren wasteland, I consider it a land of rich beauty and mystery. These pictures include Lake Abert, the basalt ridges south of Burns, the John Day Fossil Beds, the Peter French Round Barn, lonely highways, and some birds of prey at Bend's High Desert Museum.
