The Palm Springs Art Museum (formerly known as the Palm Springs Desert Museum) is a visual and performing arts institution with several locations in Palm Springs and the Coachella Valley. Its was founded in 1938, and it has undergone a number of iterations. The third and current iteration of the museum was designed by architect E. Stewart Williams in the Modernist architectural style (1976), and it was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2016.
