Onboard

Our cruise ship was the MS Zaandam, owned and operated by Holland America Line, named for the city of Zaandam, Netherlands, near Amsterdam.  The boat was built in Italy and delivered in 2000 (and refurbished in 2018).  The ship has a maximum speed of 26 mph, and it can accommodate 1,432 passengers and 607 crew.  The ship has a total of 10 decks.  All of us found the ship quite comfortable, clean, and well maintained, with an exemplary (Indonesian) crew.  No complaints on food and drink, as you can see from these pictures.  Yes, a good time was had by all.
