Lake Louise is one of the most spectacular lakes in all of the Rockies. The lake receives 10,000 visitors a day. I got up early and arrived at the lake at 6:30. The sign said "Parking Lot Full," but someone pulled out just as I pulled in. The turquoise color of the lake comes from glacial silt. On the shore of the lake is the magnificent Chateau Lake Louise, a luxury mountain resort, built by the Canadian Pacific Railroad. The weather was spectacular! I got some great pics.
