I love Kinsale! Though the weather was a bit overcast, the town was one of the most colorful places I've seen. A designated Heritage Town, Kinsale is situated on the broad estuary of the River Bandon. The town has a long history as a fishing village and a port. Its narrow lanes and beautiful Georgian homes add a fashionable touch. Kinsale is also known for its gastronomic tradition and reputation, and we can attest to this after our lunch at Fishy Fishy. A gateway to the southern coast of Ireland, Kinsale is well worth a visit.
