Wahclella Falls receives far fewer visitors than the average Columbia River Gorge waterfall (I had never heard of the falls until I bought a book on waterfall hikes in Oregon). As you can see from the pics, I had the place to myself, except for one happy couple (admiring the falls and each other!—see pic #8). The falls is a beautiful 60 ft. drop in a peaceful grotto at the end of a deep canyon. A mystical experience.
