We left Portland for Ireland on the morning of July 10th, heading first to San Francisco, where we arrived at 9:00 a.m. It was our plan to spend the day in San Francisco, have a nice lunch, do some shopping, a little sightseeing. We checked in at the United lounge and had some breakfast, then we hit the road. Gumps was our first stop, then lunch at the Tadich Grill, a San Francisco landmark. From there, we headed to the Marina District, then back to the airport for our 5:30 Aer Lingus flight to Dublin. A great start!
