Marion Bay is a small township in the Australian state of South Australia, at the southern tip of the Yorke Peninsula, about an hour west of Adelaide. The peninsula gives a sense of remoteness (not many inhabitants), but it is also a popular vacation destination, for fishing, surfing and "bushwalking" along its many trails. Adjacent to Marion Bay is Innes National Park, mostly a wildlife refuge, but also the site of a former gypsum mine and "ghost town" Inneston.
