We landed in Dublin (missing my bags), headed to our hotel, freshened up a bit, and hit the streets. We were so excited to be in Dublin! The first day was beautiful, cool, and on/off sunny (the pictures below taken at Temple Bar show the blue sky). Dublin was full of tourists, and I can see why. It is both quaint and very cosmopolitan. The food—contrary to my expectation—was fantastic! Trinity College was a highlight. We took a tour and saw the Book of Kells, a magnificent 9th century illuminated manuscript. If Georgian architecture is your passion, Dublin is your city!
