Connemara

Connemara is a district in western Ireland that encompasses parts of County Galway and County Mayo.  As you will see from the pictures, the area is rugged, sparsely populated, and beautiful.  Some compare it with the American west, almost mythical, with big skies, changing light, and vast, colorful landscapes.  I could have spent the whole trip taking pictures of Connemara!
