The Cliffs of Moher are among the most stunning natural sites in Ireland. Extending about five miles, the cliffs rise 650 feet above the Atlantic. A visitor center, built underground, gives the history and geology of the cliffs. But best of all is simply to walk the path of the cliffs—ocean, sky, and might rock formations. We were lucky to have a sunny, clear day, though the wind was fierce and cold. Well worth a visit—the rugged beauty of Ireland.
