Banff, the Banff Springs Hotel, and Medicine Hat

Banff is a resort town and a popular tourist destination within Banff National Park in Alberta, Canada, about 78 miles west of Calgary.  The Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel is an historic hotel with 764 rooms located not far from the Banff city center.  Medicine Hat is a typical prairie town in Alberta, about 160 miles southeast of Calgary.  I was taken with the clean, colorful streets and the classic "main street" type buildings.
