Many of our Brennan cousins live just north of Dublin, in Ardee (County Louth). My uncle Martin, and his wife, Bridie, along with my Aunt Bridie, and her husband, Alfie, raised their families in this beautiful part of Ireland. Some of their children still live in the area, including my first cousin, David, and his wife, Mavis, along with their two children, Martin and Rachael. They hosted our gathering in Ardee, and we had a splendid dinner together (a barbecue!) along with our first cousins Gerald and Ann. It was a warm homecoming, and we are grateful for their hospitality!
